Description
The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) component of the Integrated Logistics Hub is implemented through the construction of an 18,3 km BRT line entirely dedicated and separated from general traffic, connecting Place Cabral on the Dakar plateau (center -city) in Guédiawaye (northern suburbs). The BRT project will include, among other things, the construction of 3 major passenger terminals, 20 additional stations, including safe and secure pedestrian facilities, as well as the supply of the articulated bus fleet.
The aim is to respond satisfactorily to the strong demand for urban transport in the best performance conditions, and through this to improve urban mobility between Dakar and Guédiawaye.
