Description
The Route des Niayes project consists of the widening into 2x2 lanes and the development of a 23 km stretch of main road (Liberté VI roundabout/Shell Keur Massar station) and the construction of 72 km of roads paved urban areas. This project, costing 150 billion FCFA, will aim to relieve congestion on this busy route in order to improve traffic and safety conditions in the areas crossed, reduce vehicle operating costs, promote economic development and more viable social system, reduce poverty and promote the well-being of populations.
