Accelerated development of technical and professional training

Description

The objective of this flagship reform is to reduce the deficit in technical and professional skills by accelerating the development of related training from the Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP) to the Brevets de Technicien Supérieur (BTS).

From an operational point of view, this involves developing a detailed map of the prospective qualification needs of the economy sector by sector, putting in place a quantitative and qualitative development plan for the technical and professional training offer, particularly for level 4 and 5 qualifications (CAP, BEP, BT, BP and Bac Technique) and to implement measures and initiatives to significantly increase the number of apprentices and graduates of technical and vocational training.

Implementation

The institutional anchoring of the Reform is located at the level of the Ministry of Employment, Vocational Training, Apprenticeship and Integration (MEFPAI).

Operational implementation is ensured by public and private structures. Public intervention is mainly carried out by the Ministry in charge of Employment and Vocational Training.
