Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship (DER)
As part of the Emergency Program for Youth Employment and Integration “ Xeyu Ndaw Gni », the DER/FJ has set up a “financing, entrepreneurship and empowerment” component.
The ambition of the DER/FJ is to support self-employment initiatives as well as the socio-economic inclusion of women and young people in line with the objectives of the esp.
Major Achievements:
- Establishment of DER/FJ counters in the 45 departments (74 in total);
- Volume for Nano-credit of nearly 6 billion FCFA in 2022 with a number of beneficiaries amounting to 69 people;
- Volume of financing for the financing of sectors of more than 17 billion FCFA with a number of beneficiaries amounting to 62 people.
Outlook 2023:
RADU Center of Excellence
The overall objective of the project is to support the Operational Monitoring Office (BOS) of Senegal by enabling it to strengthen its capacities and set up a pilot Center of Excellence on “Delivery Units”.
The specific objectives are as follows:
- Strengthen the capacities of the BOS to enable it to play its role as a model in terms of Delivery Unit at the continental level;
- Establish a pilot Center of Excellence intended to support countries wishing to develop a Delivery Unit but also to facilitate exchanges between these countries on the theme of performance.
