National restitution workshop of the carbon study

With a presentation provided by Mr. Baye Elimane GUEYE (Coordinator of the Socioeconomic Impacts Monitoring Unit of #BOS), the results of the impact study on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in road transport in #Senegal were returned this Friday April 07, 2023.

As a reminder, the overall objective of this study was to identify and evaluate incentive measures to reduce carbon emissions. #carbon in the land transport sector and determine the consequences on the #health Public.

This national restitution workshop, which brought together several players in the sector, was chaired by representatives of the #MEDDTE, #MITTD and #MFB, from the principal economist of UNDP Senegal Office (Fatou Leigh) and the DG of the BOS Ousseyni KANE.
