Partnership agreement between the BOS, the ANSD and the DGPPE

The Director General of the Operational Plan Monitoring Office Emerging Senegal – BOS , Ousseyni KANE, Bamba Diop, Director General of Planning and Public Policies (DGPPE) and Dr Abdou Diouf, Deputy Director General of the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD) proceeded, Tuesday March 28, 2023, to the signing of a partnership agreement, under the supervision of the Secretary General of Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation of Senegal (MEPC), Pr. DIOP Alle Nar.

The purpose of this agreement is to define the principle and modalities of collaboration between the three parties in areas relating in particular to:
– carrying out strategic studies;
– evaluation of the social and economic impacts of flagship projects and reforms;
– evaluation of projects, programs and public policies

Concretely:
The General Directorate of Planning and Public Policies (DGPPE) undertakes, among other things, to provide its expertise in the monitoring and evaluation of projects and reforms of the esp by providing the BOS with resource persons and a technical support. It will also involve the BOS and the ANSD in its planning and public policy development work.

On the ANSD side, it will make available to the parties the data necessary for carrying out studies and other work and will actively participate in the development of decision support tools and the validation of studies;

The BOS, for its part, undertakes to involve the DGPPE and the ANSD in carrying out studies and structuring work on flagship projects and reforms and to communicate on the progress of flagship projects and reforms of the esp .
