Ila Touba Highway (131 km)

At a cost of nearly 487 billion FCFA, this highway is a response from the State of Senegal to the need to raise the level of service of the infrastructures which converge towards the city of Touba. It is 113 km long, and has six (6) interchanges.
The work officially started on December 28, 2015 and its inauguration by the President of the Republic took place on December 20, 2018 in Touba. The Thiès-Touba highway, at a cost of nearly 487 billion FCFA, is a response from the State of Senegal to the need to raise the level of service of the infrastructures which converge towards the city of Touba which is experiencing significant development both economically and demographically. 115 km long and comprising six (6) interchanges, the highway will connect the major cities of central and eastern Senegal including Touba, Matam, Linguère.
