Structuring and promoting continuing education

Description

This reform aims to bridging the technical and professional skills gap by accelerating the structuring of sectors, the development of businesses and the promotion of employees through the strengthening of continuing training.

On the operational level, this will involve:

• Detailed mapping of the prospective qualification needs of the economy sector by sector
• To increase the supply of continuing training: formalization and promotion of continuing training courses within training centers
• Establish an incentive regulatory framework for businesses
• Develop certification and the Valuation of Acquired Experience (VAE)
• Strengthen the financing of continuing training and the promotion of continuing training and certification systems among workers and businesses

Methods of implementation

The institutional anchoring of the Reform is located at the level of the Ministry of Employment, Vocational Training, Apprenticeship and Integration (MEFPAI).

Operational implementation is ensured by public (ONFP, 3FPT, etc.) and private (companies, training schools, etc.) structures. Public intervention is mainly carried out by the Ministry in charge of Employment and Vocational Training.
